On the trail of the wildebeest: from Kenya

This is simply the ultimate safari tour - not just in East Africa, but for the whole Continent. During this unique 15 day tour you will experience most of the greatest natural attractions that the fantastic countries of Tanzania and Kenya can offer.

  • Experience filled days spent amongst the animals of the legendary Masai Mara
  • Amboseli national park, where you can watch the animals with Kilimanjaro as a backdrop
  • The giants of Tarangire: Elephants and baobab trees
  • The gigantic Ngorongoro crater and its many animals
  • The nearly endless grasslands of the Serengeti national park, home to masses of game

This outstanding East-Africa safari starts out from Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. The first stop on our adventure is a visit to Amboseli National Park at the foot of Kilimanjaro. Here you can enjoy one of the most magical views in the whole of Africa - the sight of elephants and other big game animals against the backdrop of the snow clad peak of Africa’s highest mountain. We will then continue over the border to Tanzania, in search of the Great Migration.

Many different safari experiences

The route takes us through the country’s outstanding, northern nature reserves and national parks: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater and the Serengeti. Here you will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the incredible scenery offering everything from lush highlands to nearly endless plains of grass savannah – and there are plenty of wild animals everywhere. You will also have time to get a good impression of the day to day life of the local peoples. Before we cross into Kenya for more safari, we stop off on the shores of  Lake Victoria.

After crossing the border back into Kenya we visit legendary Masai Mara Game Reserve, where we can watch the fantastic wildlife and also visit a Masai-village. Finally we make our way back to Nairobi and it will be possible to experience modern city life in the Kenyan capital.

East Africa’s Great Migration

The huge wildebeest and zebra migration in East Africa is one of the most spectacular wildlife spectacles in the world. Up to 2 million animals move across the plains of East Africa, around the center of the Serengeti in Tanzania and the Masai Mara in Kenya. It is difficult to exactly predict where the huge herds of animals will be when, as this depends on where the life-giving rains fall, allowing fresh nutritious grass  to grow. As we will be visiting both the Serengeti and the Masai Mara on this tour there is a great chance of seeing this impressive spectacle, no matter which time of year you are travelling.
